Joshua Project (Tornado Recovery) | Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
This life-changing opportunity involves volunteers assisting in the following areas:
Debris removal from house lots, trained chain saw use, construction, cooking and being trained on ACTS semi-kitchen, health education, emotional and spiritual care
Items needed: Gloves, hat, close-toed shoes, food (breakfast + supper), sleeping bag + air mattress
Housing: Groups can choose from staying at a Baptist church with multiple showers or a Seventh-day Adventist church, where one shower is available.
Food: prepare and provide your own groups breakfast and supper. Lunch is provided at work area
Cost: $10.00 per day each.

Restore-A-Child | Haiti
This life-changing opportunity involves customizing the trip according to your groups strengths and desired variety:
- Mobile medical clinics to orphanages
- Medical help at SDA hospital
- Outreach project to community with SDA University.
- Presenting seminars to SDA University faculty or students
- Health Seminars
- Evangelism Seminars
- Play-therapy with children at orphanages (bring crayons, face paint, paper, balls, colored pencils, etc.)
- Construction projects
Items needed: Gloves, hat, no open-toed shoes, sack lunch items, refillable water bottles, sleeping bag, air mattress and mosquito net.
*All volunteers required to purchase badge for $49.00. each. The badge
is registered with the U.N. and helps for safety, background check and
professional licensing.
1-14 individuals $450.00 each for 1-5 days ($90.00 for each day thereafter)
*Includes: Taxi to and from airport, taxi day trips, 2 meals (specify vegan, vegetarian or
meat), 1 translator for each 7 individuals, high speed internet, cold drinks, housing, logistics
to orphanages, University, or Hospitals
15- Up $375.00 each for 1-5 days ($75.00 for each day thereafter)
*Includes: Taxi to and from airport, taxi day trips, 2 meals (specify vegan, vegetarian or
meat), 1 translator for each 7 individuals, high speed internet, cold drinks, housing, logistics
to orphanages, University, or Hospitals
*Groups recommended raising a minimum of $1,000. To adopt projects such as:
- Food and medicine to orphanage starving children ($5.00 per day/per child)
- Put roofs on churches ($3,000. -$8,000.)
- Bibles in Creole ($9.00 each)
- Medicine for mobile medical clinics or orphanages
- Water systems ($1,000.-$8,000.)
- Sound systems ($2,000.-$4,000.)
- Projectors ($1,000.-$3,000.)
- Bathrooms ($500. – 10,000.)
